Baltimore Ravens Team History
The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. The Ravens were founded in 1996 as an expansion team, replacing the Baltimore Colts who had relocated to Indianapolis in 1984.
In their inaugural season, the Ravens finished with a 4–12 record under head coach Ted Marchibroda.
